Therapeutic Interventions

I have been trained in various therapeutic approaches. The choice of approaches varies from individual to individual depending upon one’s needs and concerns. An eclectic approach is often used which includes various elements of different approaches which are best suited for the
individual.

Therapeutic Approaches I use

Supportive Psychotherapy

Supportive Psychotherapy

Behavioral Therapy

Skills Training

Skills Training

Sometimes, we may not have acquired a necessary skill to perform a behavior. Skills can vary from simple to complex. Simple skills can be eating, bathing, dressing whereas complex skills include communication skills, assertiveness, emotional regulation, or interpersonal skills. Skills training aims to train an individual in the necessary skills to perform desirable behaviors.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
